DAY 80 – Islamic Center

I was out running errands today and I drove by the Islamic Center of Tennessee in Antioch, TN.  I feel much like I do when I drive by the Palm reading place… compelled to pray.  I don’t hate the people who come here. On the contrary, I love them.  I want them all the meet Christ and find true love, joy, peace and freedom!

Muslims around the world are saying that Jesus is appearing to them in dreams and visions and they are converting to Christianity.  Christ brings true love, peace and joy. I am praying today that the people who enter this Islamic Center who are truly seeking God, that they will seek there and be unfulfilled until they find Christ.

The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.  We all can’t go to the Middle East and frankly, we don’t need to because the religion of Islam has come to us.  We don’t fight this with flesh and blood but this is a spiritual battle and it will be won in the spirit as we pray.  Pray with me that people seeking God as they enter this Islamic Center will be dissatisfied until they meet the one true God, Jesus Christ.  He truly is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  No man goes to Father God but through Christ. (John 14:60)  

God, use me to love people to Christ.  Let me speak the words of Christ and may the power of God transform lives in the Kingdom of God.  Lift the veil of deception and let the Truth of the Gospel of Christ be heard, understood and received but Muslims seeking God.  ~Amen

 

DAY 72 – Sarah DeLane

Praying for my sister-friend Sarah DeLane today as she travels to Southeast Asia to carry the Gospel to people who have never heard about Jesus.

Holy Spirit, go before Sarah and prepare the way. Let every connection go smoothly for her. Order her steps and let her hear your voice clearly.  Give her specific instructions, left, right, wait, now, over there…. be the voice in her head leading and guiding every decision. Give her discernment about who to trust. Don’t let her be deceived in any way that would lead her into harm.  Protect her physical body, protect her mind and protect her belongings.  Let everything she needs get to it’s destination. Keep her feet strong and don’t let her foot stumble on the narrow paths.  Give her favor in these villages. Let faith rise in the people so that they will see miracles and believe in Christ.  Let this be a great HARVEST OF SOULS trip for Sarah.

Astound her.  Amaze her.  Just show off, God!  Do amazing mighty wonderful things and use Sarah to build your kingdom in this area of the world.  Let the Gospel spread like a fire!  Bless her while she is there.  Let resources and finances that she needs begin to pour into the ministry even while she is away doing this mission. May she come home to cupboards that are full and running over and resources bulging full and overflowing for the next trip!  Show up with signs and wonders on this mission.  Open blind eyes, let the mute speak and the deaf hear.  You are stronger, you are mightier, you are the God above all Gods!  Show out God… show these people who have worshiped idols and other false Gods WHO the ONE true God is… the I AM, Jehovah!  Jesus, the way, the truth and the life!524720_10200557573475486_1447973096_n

DAY 28 – Misaki Kawamoto

I met Misaki Kawamoto last summer when I was in Japan. I got to spend some time with her when we were at the Doshisha University retreat center working with some of the college students.  She loves to sing Gospel music and is always smiling when she sings.  She told us all that Diana Ross is her favorite singer and she sang a special song for us that Diana Ross had recorded.

What I remember most about Misaki is a question she asked me one day while we were eating some delicious chicken curry & rice in the dining room.

“How can I FEEL that God loves me”

I received a message from her again today asking a very similar question about how can we know God loves us along with a desperate request for prayer as her faith is fading.

As desperate as she is to feel God’s love, that is how much I am praying for Misaki to KNOW Jesus in a personal way and to feel God’s love for her.

Father God, I am lifting up my friend Misaki Kawamoto today.  She is reaching out for answers about you and needs to feel your presence.  Reveal yourself to her even now and let the seed of faith that was planted in her begin to grow as she learns more about you and of Christ as her savior.  I am praying that she receives the Truth that Jesus is the one true God and you love her.  You love her so much that Jesus sacrificed his life, died, and rose up from death so that we can be saved from an eternal death, live and be free from the curse of sin.  Because of what Christ did, we really can be free from sin and death. Misaki can know you personally and be FILLED with the Holy Spirit, filled with your love, power and joy.  I pray and believe that you will reveal yourself to her in a way that she can understand and receive Jesus, be filled with your spirit and feel your love for her!  

She feels lost and desperate today.  Overwhelm her with your peace.  Give her REST as she sees you as her source of strength and wisdom.  I pray that she puts her trust in you today… fully, completely. 

In Jesus name I pray all these things… AMEN!
